Unless you’ve been living in a cave, you’ll be aware of the craze that is ‘Wordle’ …and it seems that the New York Times has just snaffled it for an undisclosed 7 figure sum!

The Tetris-like sport for bookworms and logophiles has taken over the socials. Vainglorious sharing of every word-buffs triumph over the daily puzzle has hit Twitter and Facebook.

A bit like Omicron it’s gone viral.

It’s both addictive and infuriating, but has captured our attention, and like a runaway train there’s no sign of it stopping any time soon!

It seems that no matter how digital the world we live in becomes, we’re all just seeking the simplicity of shared experiences and connection – and Wordle has the connected masses – online.
